RichNorman.Net is a network of different operating systems: Microsoft - Windows (2000, XP and 7), Canonical - Ubuntu (9.04), Linux Mint (7) and University of California, Berkeley - FreeBSD (7.2). I have recently explored other operating systems which include: Cent OS, and Oracle Solaris. Part of my education process is to determine the best way to network these operating systems as well as the ability of securely linking LANs via the Internet (Cloud). An example can be seen with my new San Diego Chat system. I am member of the Kernel-Panic Linux Users Group in San Diego which operates as a community to support those interested in a variety of Linux distributions and covers relating topics such as security and programming. I am also a member of the Under The Computer Hood Users Group which discusses topics spanning many operating systems and introduces software that is available to computer users.
